  Friday Tech Sprint Jan 22nd
Oh hello there folks!

Thought I'd share you lot out the links for my set trialrun. Yes. Idea is that I share with you guys some awesome/weird/just plain super links, news and whatnot related to gadgets, tech-stuff and just plain geeky orgasms. These are the different links and bits I talked about during the set. Links should be just about in the order I introduced them with.

This is the first link of the day. And probably one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time! Someone actually MADE 100 cupcakes with different game themes. All different! I am in my geeky baker heaven. Now, lets make this into a little game. See how many games you can recognise from these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zwhiterussian/4242440431/sizes/l/
And, when you get on the desperation part... here's actually a flickr picture with all the correct games tagged! http://www.flickr.com/photos/zwhiterussian/4242440431/
Just remember... No peeking!

And since we're on the subject of cupcakes... You know that horrible urge you get for the tasty treats, but actually making them is such a labor? Making the dough, baking the cupcakes... waiting for ages for them to be all cooked and munchable? Well, fret no more! You have found your savior! This nifty gadget will bake you seven (7) tasty bite-sized cupcakes, in just 5 minutes. No more will you suffer through your workday without your tasty (although butt-widening ;) treats! Just claim a coffee/smoke break, turn on the machine and in no time, you will be able to devour and make your co-workers jealous. Now, only for $32.99 (you know you want this) http://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/whatonearth/Whats-New_1AA/To-Play_1BC/Item_Mini-Cupcake-Maker_CD1812_ps_cti-1BC.html

Now gentlemen (or just men, I know you dirty pervs! *points at you*) Even tho gaming is awesome, and it does offer you lots of stimulates... just ladies have that something. And what would be better than giving your special something http://hawtness.com/2010/01/21/wtf-girl-photo-thats-where-the-ghost-is/ And if you're really nice, she might even show you where the ghost is ;) (and yes, I actually really am drooling after this. So... awesome :D)

Even tho we all are geeks (just admit it!) we still can be wild. So, get out those strobolights and.... Party Rats? Yes. Attach these colourful rodent-shaped lights to your fingers, and get ready to the wild partes of night blogging! And yes. The package actually does advertise this as the ideal product for night blogging. Wow, what a wild life we lead... ;) http://www.mcphee.com/shop/products/Party-Rats.html#

Now, here's the real physical proof that SUPERBOWL is nothing but a sausage fest... ;) And yes, the link IS safe for work! http://www.normthompson.com/jump.jsp?itemType=PRODUCT&itemID=1229

Well, seems like you iphone users are lucky! A guy called Phil Gyford actually tested out how fast you can type with different types of gadgets there are in the market - I think he must have been bored ;) In either case, he found out that after regular QWERTY keyboard, the fastest gadget to type with is... iphone! Check out the link to find details about the experiment: http://www.gyford.com/phil/writing/2010/01/18/input.php

Fujifilm & IBM announced that they developed new magnetic tape technology... with 32 TB storage! Considering magnetic tapes as storage have been around for over 50 years, I think that is damn amazing. Want sooo much! Some boring person might point out that we don't know the price for this yet but shush! It's cool! Now geek over it!

Also, the final piece of news for you today... Now it's guaranteed that there still will be lots of astronauts coming in the future! Because now... they have internet! So the tech-crazed kids are still able to tweet all they want. Or well. Do I need to point out what OTHER use for internet is? I know I shouldn't have to.
