Lego After Dark Publisher and New Game Announced

The last year has seen a lot of activity from Traveller's Tales and their Lego games, we've seen Marvel and DC heroes and we're about to see Jurassic Park and more Marvel fun later this year, but today Traveller's Tales and Lego themselves have announced a new publishing department called Lego After Dark and a surprise game set in an unlikely universe. And this time it's definitely not suitable for children.

Check it out below and see just what those crazy folk are up to.

There have been numerous parodies of the first franchise Lego After Dark has announced, it's supposedly inspired people to spice things up in the bedroom and has sold millions of books worldwide as well as being a huge best seller. There are no heroes, no Hobbits or orcs, and certainly no dinosaurs. But what there is is sexy, brick based fun set in the 50 Shades of Grey universe.

Teaming up with Lego themselves and Danish fetishwear manufacturers Hanky Spanky, Traveller's Tales have announced a game that promises to not only be purely for adults, but will also tie in (no pun intended) nicely with the series of books and with the products of Hanky Spanky, who will be making Lego themed fetishwear and equipment to compliment the game. No details have been announced on this fetishwear, but head of Hanky Spanky, Apri Fule has said that the inspiration behind some of the items is the pain one feels from accidentally treading or sitting on Lego pieces, barefoot or bare bottom.

Not only this, but much like Lego City Undercover, Lego 50 Shades of Grey will be a Wii U exclusive and sold strictly to over 18s only. It's also been announced on Twitter today by Lego After Dark project leader Alan Maydupp that the game will be released bundled with a special easy-clean pad in black that also uses its touchscreen in “new and inventive ways.” as well as offering a “range of compatibilities” with products from the Denmark based Hanky Spanky.

The game will follow the next round of Marvel and Jurassic Park games in time for the holiday period, because according to all parties “even adults like play time too”.

It's also been rumoured that, depending on sales and interest in Lego 50 Shades of Grey that more similar games will be released including Lego Debbie Does Dallas, Lego Emanuelle and Lego Story of O.
