Split Infinity Radio respects the privacy of visitors and listeners. This Privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you under applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR.
By using the website, stream, account features, request and voting tools, games, or Discord-linked features, you acknowledge that your data will be handled as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the parts of the service that require personal data.
Controller and contact
Split Infinity Radio is responsible for the public website, listener account features, station interaction systems, and the Discord bot features that are operated by the station.
Privacy questions, account-data requests, and copyright or legal notices should be sent to info@siradio.fm.
Who may use the service
The service is not intended for children under 13. Users who are below the age required for independent consent in their country should use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.
If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without the required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Data we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the station. Some information is provided by you, some is created by your interactions with the site, and some is created automatically by the systems that keep the site and stream running.
- Account and profile data, such as username, display name, avatar, selected team, roles, profile settings, linked sign-in provider identifiers, and provider profile details shared during sign-in.
- Station interaction data, such as track requests, votes, chart activity, Wasabit balances and transactions, game scores, leaderboard placement, Discord command usage, and moderation or administrative actions.
- Stream and listening data, such as the current stream connection state, listening-reward activity, stream metadata, and high-level playback events needed to operate listener features.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from technical data, logs, diagnostics, error reports, and security events.
- Content you submit, such as profile text, request text for live DJ streams, messages routed through station integrations, or other information you choose to provide.
Why we use data
We use personal data only where we have a lawful reason to do so. The main legal bases are providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the station, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where a feature specifically asks for it.
- To provide account sign-in, linked-provider identity, listener profiles, requests, voting, charts, rewards, games, team standings, Discord features, and other station tools.
- To operate the stream, display now-playing metadata, maintain service reliability, diagnose errors, protect against abuse, and enforce station rules.
- To preserve station history, public charts, vote totals, request history, moderation history, and other community records in a way that remains useful while reducing personal data where feasible.
- To communicate important service notices electronically, respond to support and privacy requests, and comply with legal requests or obligations.
Cookies and local storage
The site may use cookies, local storage, and similar browser storage for necessary functions such as authentication, account state, theme preference, player preference, session continuity, security, and OAuth sign-in flows.
These technologies identify a browser or session, not a person by themselves. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking necessary storage may prevent parts of the site from working.
Third parties and sharing
We do not sell, barter, or rent personal information. We share data only when needed to operate the station, connect a feature you choose to use, protect the service, or comply with the law.
- Sign-in and linking providers such as Discord, Steam, Google, and Apple may process data under their own privacy policies when you use them to connect to SIRadio.
- Discord receives and displays data needed for linked Discord features, bot commands, server interaction, request handling, station messages, and account-linking flows.
- Hosting, infrastructure, database, streaming, logging, and deployment providers may process technical data as service providers for the station.
- Administrators and moderators may access account, interaction, and technical data when needed to operate, support, secure, or moderate the service.
- We may disclose information if necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, warrant, court order, enforce these Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the station, listeners, or others.
International processing
Split Infinity Radio is operated from Greece, but listeners and service providers may be located in other countries. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.
Where GDPR transfer rules apply, we rely on appropriate safeguards, adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or other lawful transfer mechanisms available under data-protection law.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain station history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, and enforce station rules.
Some public or community records, such as charts, vote totals, request history, game standings, and moderation history, may be retained as part of the station record. When deletion would break station history or operational integrity, we will anonymize or minimize personal data where feasible.
Operational logs and diagnostics are kept only as long as reasonably needed for reliability, security, and debugging unless a longer retention period is required for investigation or legal compliance.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In Greece, the supervisory authority is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
To exercise privacy rights, contact info@siradio.fm. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access controls, operational logging, and service separation where appropriate.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to the third-party accounts you use to sign in or link to SIRadio.
Automated decisions
SIRadio does not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for listeners. Automated systems may rank charts, calculate rewards, manage eligibility windows, detect errors, and support moderation or security review.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy policy as the site and station features evolve. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
