Sorry there's no XCOM episode this week. Something came up on the day we record and we just couldn't get it done. But luckily there's always the self-inflicted agony that is Dark Souls to help fill the void. And today it's more of the oh-so wonderful swamps of Blighttown and trying to get the hell out of them. Rockstar has FINALLY announced when GTA V will be gracing our gaming world...

Yes, it sucks but this is all we can do really! Are you happy about it? I'm not too fussed about it as I still have Saints Row: The Third to keep me going but still... it's been almost two years since they announced the game... TOOK 'EM LONG ENOUGH!

Apple has released their latest installment of their handheld devices operating system, adding a few new features, expanding others and incorporating quite a few security fixes.

More precicesly, in the 6.1 version of the operating system, available since January 28 and being pushed gradually to all compatible devices you can expect to find these improvements:

• LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/)
• Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
• iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
• New button to reset the Advertising Identifier

As always, unless you like living on the edge, Split Infinity Radio suggests that you wait a while before you upgrade to 6.1, as prior experience has shown that quite a few blocking bugs might emerge with each new installment (such as the iOS 6.0 wi-fi issue that has rendered quite a few iPhones and iPads useless in the connectivity department).

Ever been sitting around and thought to yourself, "Man....I deserve to have my ass kicked inside-out and then handed to me on a silver platter"? Well that's pretty much Dark Souls in a nutshell. It hates you. It will always hate you. Even when you beat it, it will sneer at you. And you'll love every second of it. And I'll show it to you first hand in this solo Let's Play of it until I can't take it anymore.
