Radio News

In an unexpected turn of events, the Christmas WTF party got turned into a major scale revolution by our turtle assistant Wasabi, who through a carefully designed plan that was being worked on for seven years, took control of the radio, hacked our website and tried to dismantle what we have been building on for so long.

For over an hour, Wasabi has been blocking our attempts to recover the stream and website while DJ aMUSiC was trying to negotiate with him. Wasabi however made it clear that this was not a hostage situtation, and that it was not negotiable, as he kept on ranting and berating our staff members and listeners.

Fortunately, our internal intelligence services had already warned us about such an attack and we were prepared for it. Once we saw that escalation was unavoidable, aMUSiC put his secret plan to counter Wasabi in motion. He intercepted Wasabi's stream, and erased all his modifications to our site. Alas, this resulted into erasing our site as well.

In a surprise move however, aMUSiC showed us that he was prepared for that as well, and taking advantage of the havoc, he released our brand new shiny website.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

'Down but not out' - a state of flux where the player is in a "bleed out" state, they slowly move toward a teammate or into hiding to make instant death less likely and as the Gears of War Franchise has evolved, even allowed you to pick yourself back up and get back in the fight.

This coming May sees the next in a long line of post apocalyptic zombie/disease/nature gone bad game coming out in the form of Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us"

It's a game that is not only looking stunningly beautiful, but is set to take the world by storm in a new and darker direction from the Unchartered series developers.

Taking cues from the likes of Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed, the game is a largely single player experience but will be including multiplayer, making it stand out in it's genre and maybee even the game to give CoD's "Zombies" a run for its money in the post apocalyptic, kill it it moves stakes. There will be the usual kind of modes you'd expect in an online shooter, essentially making The Last of Us two games in one as Naughty Dog have already promised something fresh, new and something that stands out from the usual shooter action you'd expect in the single player game.

It'll be a PS3 exclusive and is due out on May 7th 2013. Also, worth noting is the obvious LA Noire influence as the game features real actors, really acting and made into game characters. Impressive stuff, and seing as it's almost Christmas I've added a video for you all to see just how they do it.

This summer Studio Ghibli will be releasing release two movies ”Kaze Tachinu“ and “Kaguya-hime no Monogatari“, simultaneously.

Kaze Tachinu”, directed by Miyazaki Hayao (“My Neighbor Totoro”, "Princess, Mononoke"), is based on Miyazaki’s manga. It follows the life of Horikoshi Jiro, the chief engineer of the Zero fighter plane. Of course. Hisaishi Joe will be in charge of the OST and theme song.

On the other hand, “Kaguya-hime no Monogatari”, which is directed by Takahata Isao ("Grave Of The Fireflies"), will be Takahata's first work in 14 years since “Hohokekyo Tonari no Yamada-kun“ (“My Neighbors the Yamadas”). Reportedly, He has been working on this since in 2005. It will be based on “Taketori Monogatari“, which is considered the oldest existing Japanese narrative. Takahata along with some participation from Sakaguchi Riko, is in charge of the original scheme as well as the scenario.

So, who is excited?!? Miyazaki! Back in action!
