Dead Island, the vacation based zombie apocalypse game is due out next week in amongst a slew of upcoming AAA titles. Set on the tropical island of Banoi, Deep Silver's Dead Island takes you on a first person journey slaying zombies with many a weapon, including melee, good old fashioned guns and even driving sections in an attempt to save the day from the usual horrors and mischief caused by the denizens of the undead. It'll be released next week on Tuesday September 6th in the US, closely followed by a Septenebr 9th release in Europe. The promotional trailer has been released to the world and is here for your viewing pleasure.
