Hi everybody,

You may have noticed that Split Infinity Radio is in the middle of a donations drive and we would like to thank everybody for all of their generous donations so far.

So, right now we are offering a little something to those of you who donate $2 (or equivalent)  to the station. All you need to do is use the little Chip In widget here on this page or go over to the donations page (which goes into PayPal thru ChipIn). When you get the Email to say you’ve donated, send it to donations@siradio.fm with your mailing address. We will send you a set of two buttons that we were giving out at last year’s PAX East and PAX Prime Expos.

Don't want buttons?  We'll call and wake you up or chat. Or we can do a promo for your WoW guild, EvE Corp! Or you can be in a commercial if you'd like! We could record your voicemail message or make you a custom ringtone. We are willing to be big doofuses for your entertainment if you'll donate to us today!

We’d like to thank you again for any support you’ve given, and all donations are gratefully received.

They say that strange things happen at sea, but something even stranger has happened on the good old internet in the form of Sony being filled with the milk of human kindness. Yes in the most positive outcome of hacking since Matthew Broderick decided to play Global Thermonuclear War one dreary afternoon Sony have a package available to make even the most disheartened of their customers raise a smile.

Big and exciting things are always expected from our summer blockbusters, especially where super heroes are concerned. So far, we’ve already had Thor, Green Lantern is just around the corner, and the pant-wettingly awesome concept of Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury in next year’s The Avengers is enough to make me want, no NEED to watch that film now. But the real big one from Marvel this summer is probably prequel to X-Men-X-Men First Class.

Check after the break to see the full scoop.

More news from the world of shooters has hit today in the form of yet another announcement from Gearbox concerning the upcoming, much anticipated and incredibly late Duke Nukem forever.

Now hold your breath kids, don't despair as this announcment isn't yet another delay it is in fact quite the opposite. The game is still coming out in Europe and the UK on June 10th and in the US on June 14th. "So what is this announcement?" I hear you cry.

Well, those lovely folk over at Gearbox are releasing a demo for those of you who preordered the game. This demo is set for release on June 3rd and will run until the game's release when you can finally, after 13 long years get to play the game for real, which means for some of us the Duke will be coming early.

Not that he'd ever admit that....

Shooter fans can rejoice right now as Modern Warfare 3 is announced with details and teasers. The teasers are much like Modern Warfare 2, all black and green night vision slickness but this time featuring four world locations.

England, Germany, USA and France all seem to be the subject of invasions and very naughty despots trying to rule the world, and of course it's up to you to stop it all.

A lot of leaked information has come out since Friday about the game including the announcment...or until official sources reveal it properly "announcement" of 20 multiplayer maps, 15 single player missions and a whole host of in game locations including Brooklyn, Manhattan, London and Mogadishu.

The rumor mill has announced a November 8th release date, so in the interests of not hating freedom this one certainly needs checking out.

Expect more news and more trailers over the coming months as the hype grows and check out the trailers on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/djvillan69
