If you haven't heard about the new Batman game thats been in the works for the better part of the last 2 years then we'd love to see the rock you've been living under, it must be huge. (That's what she said!) But for those of us who are keeping track of the infamous Caped Crusader the word is that there will be a playable demo to show off the new FreeFlow combat system and the Invisible Predator stealth coming out August 7th for PC, 360, and PS3. The game will also feature unlockable bios and previews of villains Batman might be tangling with. Be sure to check that out and let us know what you think about it in the forums!

So we all know that you love your favorite motion controlling console, The Wii. But we also know that with said console comes a few things that are problematic about it *cough*ONLINE PLAY*cough*. But it seems that developers Vicarious Visions and Activision are pushing the envevelope with a couple new additions to Guitar Hero 5.

Hate friend codes? Guitar Hero 5 will use your universal wii code. That means that you should probably get to adding all your friends to your address book now.

Got a spare DS? The new GH5 is supposrting a cool co-op/competitive mode allowing people to connect their DS for a mode known as "Roadie Battle".

8 player online. Thats right, we're talking complete support for online games via wi-fi. They are also including a party play mode which lets players drop in and out at will with ANY combo of instuments.

In the graphics department the game will see a full detail overhaul hopefully to your liking, including new lighting effects and smoother movement for characters.

Here's a piece of fun news for you avatar lovers out there. Activision has officially announced that you will be able to use your Xbox 360 Avatars as playable characters in its upcoming Guitar Hero 5. Of course the feature will be available right away on September 1st (US release date) when you get home with your copy. All you'll need to do is import your avatar into the game and pick their instrument.

Oh yeh, one more thing...You will also be able to deck out your Avatar however you'd like using the the game’s Create-A-Rocker mode to help you get your Bono on.

It appears that the DSi got its new system update today and with that release comes a nice new feature for those of us social networking addicts. Yes, it seems that now you will be able to upload pictures directly from your DSi camera that will appear live in the feed for all of your friends to see. Of course you will need to be connected using the Wi-Fi on the Nintendo DSi so that you can access all the online features.

Now the update did cover some other technical aspects of the system improving features abound. This update is accessed by performing a system update in the System Settings of the Nintendo DSi, which will automatically upgrade the console’s firmware to version 1.4.
