Some new information about L4D2 to come out is the fact that it will be set in the daytime, instead of night like L4D1 and will feature new zombies.
The new zombies include brain eating fiends such as a "spitter" who sits back and spits inflicting damage around the point where it lands. The purpose of a spitter is to force your group to scatter and of course make it more challenging. Another new type of zombie is the "common-uncommons." These zombies are specific to the level you are currently running. In the Swamp level there are "mud men" who are fast, crawling zombies.
Also, GameSpot has reported that the pills and first aid kits will be taken out of the game altogether and replaced with ammo packs and adrenaline. It will be a sad day if we no longer are able to hear the characters yell "PILLS HERE!" Let's hope GameSpot is wrong! Otherwise who can't wait for this game! I know I can't!

PC Gamers hoping for Dante's Inferno prepare to shed tears. Unless you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 you won't be able to spend countless hours glued to a screen. EA announced that in their original press release they said they would only be realeasing the game for 360 and PS3 NOT PC. They claimed they never announced it or have any plans for it. Sorry PC :(
...Hey, at least you don't have to rely on it coming to the Wii.

Nintendo WiiWare has helped many indie game studios bring out their product to a bigger audience, but now they are helping old games sprout new wings! (Dorky..I know :P) The Tales of Monkey Island will be launching a new game through the WiiWare channel. The title will be Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal. It's set to launch on the channel on July 27th for 1000 Wii Points ($10). Looks cute, try it out!

...as long as you live near San Diego that is.

Hopefully you have your tickets for the San Diego Comic Con in hand, if so, head over to the Comic Con Convention Center's room 6A on Thursday between 12:30 and 1:30pm and meet up with Richard Hatch (Tom Zarek from BSG, or Captain Apollo from the original BSG) who is hosting a panel with writer/producer Michael Taylor, science advisor Kevin Grazier and BSG's composer Bear McCreary, that DJ aMUSiC himself interviewed here on SI a while back. There will be a discussion and Q&A of BSG's four seasons with a dramatic ending!
