...as long as you live near San Diego that is.

Hopefully you have your tickets for the San Diego Comic Con in hand, if so, head over to the Comic Con Convention Center's room 6A on Thursday between 12:30 and 1:30pm and meet up with Richard Hatch (Tom Zarek from BSG, or Captain Apollo from the original BSG) who is hosting a panel with writer/producer Michael Taylor, science advisor Kevin Grazier and BSG's composer Bear McCreary, that DJ aMUSiC himself interviewed here on SI a while back. There will be a discussion and Q&A of BSG's four seasons with a dramatic ending!

But let's not forget the concerts at the House of Blues. The Music of Battlestar Galactica are also going on hosted by Edward James Olmos, with the doors opening at 7pm going on until midnight. You can pick up tickets from Ticketmaster still and catch an amazing show, but according to Bear himself on his blog the Thursday show will be extra special, so you will want to catch that one if you can, which will feature an exclusive surprise performer.
Friday at the convention, Bear McCreary will be back, this time at the Capcom booth on the convention floor from noon until 1pm signing and meeting fans because he worked on Dark Void for them! This the unveiling of the title, so head over and see what it's all about, it looks amazing. Not content with just a mere signing, Bear will put on another concert at the House of Blues that night, hosted by Edward James Olmos and Grace Park from 7PM until Midnight again.
Saturday at the convention, at the La La Land Records table at the Screen Archives/Film Scoring Monthly Booth on the convention floor from 1 til 3pm, Bear and gang will be on hand signing the Battlestar Galactica Season 4 soundtrack. And of course, another round of the concert, hosted by Grace Park, from 7PM until Midnight at the House of Blues!
I envy you kids getting to go to any of the events, it sounds like a frakkin' good time! And it's an amazing soundtrack! Have a blast! Just watch out for toasters.
