Capcom's classic Street Fighter II franchise makes its premiere multiplayer appearance on Xbox Live Arcade. Dubbed "Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting" it is available for download on Xbox Live Arcade now with added enhancements and features such as; high definition video resolution, online multiplayer combat with ranking dictated matches, monthly Leaderboards ranked by accumulated points. It has also been announced that it is the fastest-selling Xbox Live Arcade title to date, with "Hundreds of matches" taking place every hour.

Electronic Arts has announced its planning to shut down a load of online severs for many of its older titles in August and October.
