At the Tokyo Game Show, Square-Enix dropped a bomb that we were all hoping for, the return of at least one of its Final Fantasy games for the current generation of consoles. 

One of the most highly played and loved games for the Playstation 2, Final Fantasy X will be returning to consoles... sometime.  Details were sparse as Squenix only made the announcement and committed to nothing other than it will be remastered for HD gaming and coming out for the Playstation 3 and the next generation handheld, the Playstation Vita.

Will it feature any new content? Will there be multiplayer Blitzball?  Probably not, but we can hope.  Speaking of hope, Hey Squenix, umm.. Final Fantasy 7? 8?  X-2? Check back for the latest details as we find them.

Every year we see the XBOX Dashboard blossom more and more into the beautiful flower it always aspired to be, and this year just like last, brings us another Fall update (codenamed Metro) and with it more pretty shiny things to look at, play with and potentially make our new XBOX experience better than before.
