Now wheres my Virtual Alfred? And don't give me any of that Ask Jeeves bullshit either.

This is the only reason we can think of to buy your copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum on PS3. Yes, it really does come with a BatCave that you can access via Sony Home. However, You DO have to provide your own Bat Nipples. We hear Joel Schumacher is having a sale on them due to the recession though.

Dinosaurus Text

Do you hear that? It's the sound of thousands of pre-teen girls and angsty teenage boys squeeling with joy. Why you ask? Because Nintendo's just dropped the biggest thing since Deviant Art...and it's free. That's right if you own a DSi then sign onto the closest wireless hotspot and grab yourself a copy of Flipnote Studio, did we mention it's FREEEEEE?

Flipnote Studio was released yesterday on the Nintendo Network and is a nice DSiWare app that allows you to create animations in the vien of a simplistic Mario Paint. (Gameboy Camera anyone? Eh? EHHHH?) Known as Moving Memo in Japan, the application is pretty easy to use and has been building a large fan base since its Japanese release last December. The coolest thing about the program isn't the ability to draw animations or record audio but it's the ability to upload your artistic creations to the Flipnote website!

Now we must say that the website is clearly booming with animations of almost everything you could think of. It's comparable to an animators version of YouTube.

Could we see animation of art companies begin to pick up kids from the site? Only time will tell but there's definitely a wealth of talent strewn across the board. Just in case you're a little shy about your artistic ability fear not in knowning you can save all your animations to an SD card or share them though Nintendo WiFi.

..still sucks to own a Wii! It's been how long since this came out and now when MW2 is coming out WE GET MW1! geezus

On November 10, the Wii will finally get CoD:MW. There is no known info on how the game will work, it's only been confimed as of now.

Also, DS owners arn't being ignored by Activision. They are getting CoD:MW: Mobilized. It will have 6 player online multiplayer mode that allows you to host your own server, as well as a survival mode (like in Left 4 Dead). You will get a multitude of weapons that you can use to hold off waves of oncoming enemys. Another addition to this game will be Arcade Mode, which will allow you to replay the single-player mode with a time limit and running score. It will also release on November 10.

Tuesday August 4th sees a monumental chapter in gaming history, it'll be one of those things that the Moon Landing, When Michael Jackson died or when you got drunk or laid for the first time will echo around your memory in an unforgettable crescendo of.....erm let's start again.

It really isn't that momentous I'm just wasting time and words while waiting for the bloody servers to come back online....

OK, now I've got that out of my system, Blizzard have upgraded World of Warcraft up to Version3.2, which is a huge patch, that has been downloaded by everybody already via the WoW downloader and this magical patch has changed pretty much every aspect of the game.

Now, you can get a mount at level 20, so no more of that hard slog to 30 before getting your horse or ram etc, also epic mounts are now available at level 40, which personally makes me happy as I got there just in time!

Rogues can now use one-handed axes, presumably from behind too, which not only adds to the fun of being a rogue but should also make the impossible possible and make hunters hate them even more than they already do.

PVP experiences have been added too, which theoretically make everyone who like to beat seven shades of brown stuff out of each other, especially as there are options to turn off the system for those who don't want it.

And if that wasn't enough there are also new places for raiding guilds to play.

You think it all stops there? Well, in a word, nope! It gets even better.

We all know that the bane of many a WoW player's existence are the bind on pickup items that frequently crop up during dungeon quests and raids. Now, there is a glimmer of hope for those people in the fact that any bind on pickup item picked up in such quests can now be traded with other party members up to two hours after looting. This means no more ninja action and claims of the “cat stepping on the keyboard” or other such oh so convenient mishaps will be rendered pretty much pointless.

There are many more things that I could mention but if I did I'd still be here talking about them until patch 3.3 comes out. If you want to know more, then all the details are in the patch notes and you could do worse than check them out while waiting for the servers to come back to life again.

Left 4 Dead is getting some new DLC, which means that although L4D2 is due out in November that there's still life left in the old horse yet.

Valve has announced a whole new single player and multiplayer campaign for both the XBOX 360 and PC versions of the game and it seems many XBOX 360 gamers may well be levvying more complaints towards Valve when they find out that they will have to pay 500MS points when PC gamers will get Crash Course for free.

Crash Course is set to add some continuity between the No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns from the original release as well as making a mockery of that helicopter rescue at the end of No Mercy as it seems that the helicopter won't be quite the flying whirlybird of salvation the game led us to believe the first time around.

Crash Course will add to the Survival and Co-op modes, not just as a new level but also by adding a recharge timer for infected teammates, and tweaked item spawning for a more balanced experience.

About the new release Gabe Newell said that "Since the release of Left 4 Dead last November, the design team has been excited about creating new experiences for this world and allowing players to do the same, by releasing much of our internal toolset, like the Survival Pack and Authoring Tools," He also added that "We're working with the fans toward the ongoing entertainment value of the product."

The DLC will be coming in September and is looking like it will not only be a good stopgap between now and the release of L4D2 but is also (in my opinion) bound to annoy and alienate many XBOX 360 owners who already pay for XBOX Live by charging for something PC gamers are getting for free and is almost certain to gain more names for that anti L4D2 petition.

On the other hand, it means we all get to shoot more zombies....and that's the main thing. Right?
