Excited about GTA 5? I sure am, and Rockstar are clearly aware of this. Being the masters of promotion that they are, Rockstar released new footage today of the next instalment in the free roam series. The new footage gives us a brief bio for each of the games 3 main characters. Michael the rich 40 something guy suffering a mid-life crisis, Franklin the gang-banger who is trying to get out of the slums and find a better life for himself and Trevor the sociopathic resident of the trailer park where he distributes drugs and beatings where he sees fit.
This is a ton of footage, and all shot in the typical humour and awe that we come to expect from Rockstar. Open up the full story below to see the trailer.
It seems that a potential Gears of War movie could well be on the cards again, as Variety have reported that producer, Scott Stuber has joined up with a Gears of War related project.
Scott Stuber is head of Bluegrass Films and is set to work with Epic Games to develop the script. Currently there's no distributor or writer attatched to this, so it is very much still early days as far as the project is concerned, but although this is the case Universal Studios have first refusals on what could become the nexzt big gaming franchise movie.
Scott Stuber has worked on big movies in the past including Ted, Battleship and is currently working on the upcoming 47 Ronin.
This isn't the first Gears of war movie to be talked about as there was originally a movie set for release back in 2010. This project fell apart due to creative differences, so who knows, this time around we may well get to see Marcus Fenix on the big screen.
