The single server world of serious spaceship business reaches their sixth birthday today.  CCP has kept pushing themselves these six years to release two major free expansions each year and to keep integrating user feedback into the game.  Over the years, there have been numerous massive fleet battles, and ever changing politics along with the changing strategies of the players themselves.  This current year has been a very important one for EVE, where they set the largest concurrent user record in a MMO of 53,850 users, and hit a new record subscriber cap of 300,000 active subscribers, not including trial accounts. 

Of course, let’s not forget that folks can now get the game from retailers with EVE available in a box on shelves in your favorite store, which includes 60 days of game time.
