Foo Fighters to Headline Blizzcon

Every year Blizzcon impresses and entertains worldwide audiences with it's gaming festival, showcasing the best from Blizzard and their games. And every year those festivities are always subject to a rock 'n' roll finale.
Want to know more about this years Blizzcon, click below and get the full scoop.

In amongst the fun of Blizzcon there are always exciting morsels from Starcraft and World of Warcraft and you should expect the usual talks, demos, dance contests and wacky costumes. And of course you should always expect that big rock act. Over the last couple of years we've had Ozzy Osbourne, last year was Tenacious D complete with Dave Grohl on drums, and this year Dave Grohl makes his triumphant return with one of my personal favourite live acts, Foo Fighters. They'll headline the end of festivities gig with the ever present The Artist Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain which comprises of Blizzard staff and their unique brand of heavy metal.

Blizzcon is at the Aneheim Convention Centre in California on 21st-22nd October and tickets have unsurprisingly already sold out.
Just like previous years there will be virtual tickets which allow to to watch Blizzcon online, giving homebound Blizzard fans access to over 50 hours of footage including the closing concert.
It's all available from DirecTV at $39.99 and at the official Blizzcon site below.
