I got completely music distracted and didn't do any of this on air during Whiplash, so you get to read it instead! Come catch the latest geekish news!

Batman Arkham Origins is coming this fall, on October 25 to be exact, on pretty much anything with a processor (PS3, Xbox, WiiU, PC).  It's a prequel, and one of the villains in the game is Deathstroke, as seen on the back of game informer magazine. The game's plot is the world's 8 deadliest assassins coming to take out Batman on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to you too!

Space is hard to come by in Japan, and finding an apartment can be even harder. One company's solution? Giant aluminum boxes you can live in. They are 7 ft by 12 ft, with a bed, a toilet, sink, shower, kitchenette with a microwave and portable stove, even a TV. Each one costs $29k. Yes you too can pay 29k for your own prison cell!

There are a few potentially geeky/scifi-y things coming down the pipe in the fall you might want to check out. Super Clyde on CBS looks to be a show about a super hero, but really he's a guy with too much money helping people. It has Rupert Grint and Stephen Fry, so really, at least the pilot's worth a watch. Gothica is a series that has Dracula, Frankenstien, Jekyll and Hyde… really it's a total soap opera level drama bomb waiting to happen. The Hundred is a series where Earth is a radioactive wasteland and the last humans live on an ark orbiting the planet. I swear if they use Radioacitve in the commercials, I am throwing Qubit at the TV.

From the guy that directed District 9 (Neill Blomkamp) comes another lovely sci-fi romp called Elysium, and the theatrical trailer has just come out. The TL;DR on it is: Set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.

Fox has decided to continue to be raging cocks to the Firefly fans, and hunt down people selling Jayne Hats on Etsy. Really? After 10 years of not giving a shit, you sold licensing rights to Firefly? WTF Fox.

NASA has teamed up with MIT to try looking for Earth 2. They'll use a new method to try to find planets in a star's habitable zone, and get 200 million from NASA to do it. Now, the real question here is, how the hell will we get there?

Even the cast of Batman and Robin, the most hated Batman movie ever, sat down and recorded themselves taking a massive shit on how bad it was.

The guy that pioneered a generation of businesses like sperm banks and egg donation, has passed away. Robert Edwards, the pioneer behind test tube babies, died at age 87.
