October 30th will see the Golden Joystick Awards 2009 ceremony held in London and the desicions are made by gamers like you and I. All you need to do to get your opinion known is head on over to www.goldenjoystick.com and vote.

The short list has been announced today and you can vote in a plethora of categories and vote for your favourite games from the last year.

This year sees the 27th ceremony, which was first started way back in 1982.
