Our favorite nerdy number crunchers over at VG Chartz are reporting that Red Steel will return to the Wii with a sequel. Oh and did we mention it supports the new Wii MotionPlus?

Now, we know the original Red Steel made promises to your heart that its current technology couldn't support. The idea of virtually waving around a sword and a gun like some crazy sex child of John Woo and the Highlander sounded awesome. Bad news was that the presentation was clearly awful.

But we're ready to give it another go and we sure hope you are too. The developing team have promised that Red Steel will make wielding your blade as real as you've always wanted.

Oh and one last thing....did we mention that it's to be set with a Wild Western feel to it. <-- click this, DO IT.
