So you're a gaming parent? In a gaming infused console based world filled with GTA's and Gears of War you don't have much of an alternative when it comes to a "family gaming experience". The good news however for both Rythm Game Enthusiests and Family Gamers alike is that TT Games and Harmonix have teamed up to bring you LEGO Rock Band.
Would I kid you when it comes to kid games? More after the break.
Joystiq announced yesterday that LEGO Rock Band will be coming to a console near you this holiday season. It will release on PS3, 360, Wii, and the DS. As per alwasy the game will be able to use the pre-existing Rock Band/Guitar Hero peripherals.
In this more family friendly version of the game you will be customizing the all famous LEGO avatars of yourself, your road crew, and your managers. Only a few songs have been announced so far but here they are:
Blur: "Song 2"
Carl Douglas: "Kung Fu Fighting"
Europe: "The Final Countdown"
Good Charlotte: "Boys and Girls"
Pink: "So What"
Wait, so you're letting me play The Final Countdown (FINALLY) and with LEGOs at the same time? My life is complete.
