Limber those fingers up people! Limbo, brought to you by PlayDead gaming out of Denmark, brings you this action/puzzle based side scrolling game. The game is completely black and white, with a creepy little boy character, the only features of which you can see are his insanely glowing white eyes and basic body shape. Journey with him through Limbo on a quest to find out what happened to his sister!
The puzzles get increasingly challenging as you progress through the game. From climbing trees and ropes, pushing boxes and being chased by spiders, you've got to always be on the lookout for what's coming next. Both in front and behind you. You'll be jumping from broken tree limb to broken tree limb and get impaled by a viciously huge spider you never saw coming. At one point, after solving what I thought was the puzzle to progress, I jumped over a pit of spikes only to get pwnd in the face by 3 kids playing with blow darts, didn't their mothers teach them you can poke an eye out with those things?!
This side scrolling game is quite fun and addicting, for each puzzle you solve, you can't wait to get to the next one, just to see how many tries it takes. Totally in black and white, the graphics add to the creepy ambiance set forth with creepy music, allowing you to imagine that this is exactly what the time spent before heaven or hell, is actually like. And for 1200 MS points and a 3 minute download from xbox.com, it doesn't break the bank, for a rainy day game. There is a free demo, which gets you through the first 8 puzzles or so, to give you a feel for the speed and movement of the game.
