Lego is a legendary toy as we all know and had been tied in to the likes of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and the DC universe in both real life Lego form and the Traveller's Tales games.

This time around it'll be the turn of the Marvel universe to be immortalised in brick form as we take to our favourite consoles with the likes of Wolerine, Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man and more for yet another Lego adventure/parody that's sure to keep the kids and adults out of mischief for a while.

The game will be published by Warner Brothers Entertaiment and developed by the experts in these maters, Traveller's Tales and we already know a little about the game thanks to the Lego website.

It will be released this coming fall after Spring's release of Iron Man 3 and a whole host of new Marvel related Lego sets and will be on all the major formats, Wii, Wii U, XBox, PS3 and PC as well as the Nintendo and Playstation handheld systems.

 The Lego site told us that the game will offer an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other Marvel heroes to save Earth from such vilains as Loki and Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.  There's the promise of the usual gameplay and humour you expect from these games and of course every reason to get excited about this one on more than one level. It's also been stated the game will be set in Lego New York as well as the advernture taking in iconic Marvel Universe locations.

There will also be tue usual fun of unlocking extra characters from across the Marvel Universe,(it's boasted that there will be over 100 unlockable characters) including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki and Galactus. So definitely one to look forward to especially for true believers and Lego fanatics alike.
