The ever popular Hitman series is one that will most likely never die.  And now Square Enix's new family member Eidos are working on another adventure for Agent 47.

Eidos’ Ian Livingstone has announced that IO Interactive is working on the new Hitman game.  After being questioned about the game he said, "It’s being worked on, but there’s been no announcement on the release date yet. We haven’t even announced the game yet, so everything you hear about the next Hitman game is purely speculation at this point." 

Yeah, he's calling his own quote specualtion, but it does sound official in a "read between the lines" way. 

It may be a while before any more news as IO are working on Mini Ninjas and Kane and Lynch 2 right now. But be prepared for more baldheaded cheesewire gossip in the coming months.
