...surfs up?

Local hunting on the internet and from sources have revealed there will be a new Tony Hawk game!  Here's the story.

The next Tony Hawk game, titled Tony Hawk Ride, will use a motion-sensing skateboard peripheral. The rumor has been almost confirmed over and over again, so it's not surprising, but now we've gotten our first look at the device. The reveal from GameTrailers TV shows off the peripheral in action, as well as providing some details from the developers.

The game is for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, and features a stylized look that appears a little less realistic than other Hawk games. The game won't work at all with a regular controller, and it won't feature split-screen multiplayer, due to the likelihood of players crashing into each other during play.

I still dont know about the whole "can't use a regular controller" thing.  That will probably keep me from getting it personally.  No room in my room for that board on my messy ass floor.

Go make with the signing of the up of the free closed beta.

Yes, ladies and gents, it seems that the one and only highly anticipated FREE MMOFPS game Huxley IS BACK. Originally announced back in 2005 we were giving the promise of seriously epic 100 v 100 shoot outs. Unfortunately since then it seemed that the game had fallen not only off the radar but under the table drunk and passed out with marker all over its face.

But oh no, we here at Split Infinity haven't forgotten the promises of said crazy gun fights of a future distopian era! It seems the games developers have avoided most general media and press with the recent announcement of the closed beta registations being opened.

Does this mean we wont ever see a George Foreman grill mod?

We're not sure if you cats and kittens have heard about the new possibility of a PS3 redesign it looks like those rumors may be more than just dust in the wind.

Earlier this week there were a few mock up shots of the new PS3 (read: this could be a prototype design) that was supposed to be coming out (no release date yet, sorry) eventually.  This comes as no suprise to the Sony fanboys as this seems a common theme with Sony to make a product and then make it smaller and smaller and smaller and, well, you get the point. Needless to say that all we're going to do is post the images and let you guys decide on your own.

No joke here folks. This heres the internet. SRS BSNS.

I know that you're all pretty much either completely done with the shit storm of news circling Duke Nukem Forever or you're like us and hanging over a cliff by your nails waiting for the next succulent tidbit. Speaking of tidbits and shit storms, the weather today seems to be partly cloudy with a chance of lawsuit.

Duke Nukem Forever has recieved more publicity in the last 2 weeks than it has over the 12 year span of its "development." We've seen the teasers and trailers and the bankruptcies and sell offs, but now we see the claws really come out.  Take-Two Interactive is suing Apogee Games and whatever is left of 3D Realms (read: Take Two is never getting their $12M bucks back) seemingly to try to recoup their losses.

Bloomberg reported Take Two Interactive filed a breach of contract suit against Apogee Software - AKA 3D Realms AKA we fucking told you so - in a Manhattan Court citing the "continual delay" on the highly anticipated sequel. Said complaint stated, “Apogee repeatedly assured Take-Two and the video-gaming community that it was diligently working toward competing development of the PC Version of the Duke Nukem Forever.”

Serious stuff going on here ladies and gents. I smell SITCOM! Apogee and Take Two! One is a slob the other is OCD! Either way sitcom or no, I think this means that even though we don't know who will produce it or who will win this lawsuit, the fact is that the demand for this game is present and called for.

Can't you hear us world? We don't want our MTV....We just want our Duke "Kick Ass and Chew Gum" Nukem!

You know Souldja Boy Tellum will buy all of these

Ok we gotta say that some of you might think this is the biggest shoe abomination you've ever seen since the official Marty McFlys but to us these are the coolest shoes since LA Lights. The bad news is that they cost $2500 USD so unless you're crapping money like Nintento or your fetish is shoes the chances are you won't end up rocking a pair of these this fall.

The XBOX 360 Nike's are an exclusive shoe, read: One of a kind. It comes with the leather back logo that is sewn around fiber optic wiring in the shape of the XBOX Logo. The battery is located in the tongue and includes an on off switch that can be set to Strobe or Constant functions. Needless to day the shoe is incredibly green. They come in a men's size 11.

Not only does the logo light up for your "in da club" fun but they also feature a nice glow in the dark XBOX logo for those battery savers out there.
