Call of Duty 4 took three awards at the 2009 British Academy of Film and Television Arts video game ceremony.

The surprise winner of game of the year, the biggest award, was Super Mario Galaxy.

More surprising was the fact that best-selling title GTA IV went home without any awards - despite being nominated in seven separate categories.

                   This is How Nintendo Works.

Here's a quicky for all fo you suffering people out there in these Oh So Difficult economic times. While people still can't feed their children and houses are being burned for insurance money just know one thing. Nintendo is still making BANK.

Some have said that the GAming Market is indifferent to a economical shift whether up or down and this seems to hold true as Nintendo announced this week that the Nintendo DSi has sold 435,000 units. The number might not sound too staggering until you find out that the DS Lite, in the same amount of time released, only sold 226,300 units.

Hot damn Nintendo, you wanna be my Rich Uncle?
