P.I.G. Virus? Get it? Swine Flu...P.I....aw fuck it.

Apparently Dead Rising 2 will be a no show at E3 due to a Swine Flu outbreak in Osaka, Japan.

Capcom's Senior Director of Communications and Community was quoted as saying "Our Capcom guys are not coming to E3 because of the Japanese government restrictions," and that “the company is taking the advisory very seriously.

Unfortunately Dead Rising 2 will not be at E3 but all of Capcom's other games are going to still be shown. The deciding factor on not showing Dead Rising 2 was due to Keiji Inafune and the other developers from Japan not being able to make the trip. Kramer rounded out commenting “Dead Rising 2 is the only game we won’t be able to showcase at E3, because it’s at an early stage of development and the team is not comfortable having anyone else demo the code.

In other news, you really have to admit P.I.G. Virus sounds so much more looming than "Swine Flu" of "H1U1" or whatever else the kids are calling it these days.

Lets see Marky Mark Wahlberg do THIS

Ladies and Gents get ready to welcome back your favorite angsty noir detective with a penchant for slow motion dives and epic gun fights in the gritty New York streets. That's right it looks like Max Payne is back for a third round and he means business.

Check out Rockstar's teaser trailer here.

We'd like to welcome you to the first of what will be a continuing monthly segment through the summer and if you crazy bastards enjoy it, we may go weekly with it. What we're aiming to do today is list off the rest of the must see Summer Blockbusters and give you a few opinions on whether we think the movie is worth throwing that hard earned almighty dollar at or if you should once again spend it on blow and hookers err we mean ice cream sundaes for everyone.

A long long time ago, on a PC far far away, gaming was a different thing altogether, 3D was virtually unheard of and games ran in creaky old DOS.

Back then point and click adventures were all the rage and LucasArts were the main producer of this genre. Many famous and influential games came out of this genre, none more famous than Monkey Island. People over a certain age will have very fond memories of monkeys, pirates and also a battle system that was controlled by insults and childish taunts. It was just sheer genius.

Now, the reason I tell you this is that there are rumours stating Monkey Island may well be coming to Xbox 360 which will give gamers over a certain age that warm tingly feeling their mothers warned them about and also entertain newer gamers who have never seen a game like this before.

Rumours are abound that “The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition” is due out on Xbox 360 and will be published Activision Blizzard Deutschland GmbH, which the European publishing arm for LucasArts.

The big rumour is that the game is planned for unveiling at E3 2009 at the beginning of June.

It's not clear yet whether this a completely overhauled HD remake, or just the original title made for 360, if it's a full release, an XBLA release or even if it really exists yet. But it's still a pretty awesome concept for retro fans young and old.

If you have no idea what Monkey Island is you seriously are missing out on a gem from gaming past, and if this is all a hoax could leave many gamers disappointed.

Playstation 3 owners prepare to rejoice as today those lovely people at Bethesda have announced that you'll finally be getting DLC for Fallout 3. Yes PS3 owners will be able to play the DLC already available for PC and 360 and if that wasn't enough two more DLC packs have been announced for all systems.

A patch will be released to enable the DLC and late June will see the release of Operation Anchorage followed a few weeks later by the Pitt and again a few weeks after that, Broken Steel.

And if that wasn't enough, Bethesda will be adding to the already open-ended (via Broken Steel) post apocalyptic game two new DLCs planned for all versions, so now PS3 owners will no longer be left out in a cruel cold DLC-less void.

The new DLC packs will be Point Lookout which will be a new swampland area filled with new quests and content. It will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC.at 800 points or $9.99 or a couple of pieces of scrap metal and a bobblehead. It will be available through the usual Xbox and Games for Windows Live services as well as by token at retail. The PS3 version will be coming after the first three DLCs have been released.

The 2nd brand new DLC will be called Mothership Zeta and will feature some rather annoyed aliens, yes you read that right ALIENS!

In this one you can expect to experience an alien abduction first hand and see if you have the minerals to survive it too. Mothership Zeta is due out at the end of July for Xbox 360 and PC at the usual price and places and will be available on PS3 after Point Lookout.

And for one last tidbit, there will be an add-on disc, imaginatively titled as Add-on Pack #1 which will include The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage.  It will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26. This will be followed by the equally imaginatively titled Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 which will include Broken Steel and Point Lookout and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.

Apparently retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 are not possible and the DLC will only be available for download online via PlayStation Network. But hey, at least PS3 will be getting it all.

There will be a Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition arriving in October. And it will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.
